Title: "Butterfly Roundup"
Size: Life-size bronze, 15"h x 12"w x 42"d
Copyright: 1999
Edition: 35
This young butterfly boy bronze completed the trio of sculptures where Dan's grandson Sawyer was the star model. This piece adds a nice touch to intimate outdoor gardens, courtyards, and patios. It's also at home displayed inside. The sculpture is among the permanent public collections of the Concord School in Darien, Illinois; the Fortune Foundation Garden for Abused Children in Boulder, Colorado; the Mynelle Gardens Botanical Society in Jackson, Mississippi; the City of Ankeny, Iowa; and the Springville Civic Center, Springville, Utah.
These two photos illustrate different patina options that work nicely on "Butterfly Roundup."
